MS PTFE lined pipe is a mild steel (MS) pipe lined internally with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a high-performance fluoropolymer that is highly resistant to chemicals and non-stick in nature. The lining shields the steel from corrosive chemicals, and the pipe is thus well suited for carrying aggressive acids, bases, and solvents in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries. PTFE lining provides a smooth, inert surface, whereas the outer shell of MS contributes mechanical strength. Together, these provide durability, safety, and longevity in abusive environments where standard metal or plastic pipes would shorten their lifespan instantly.
